Biography
April Billingsley is an award winning Sag-Aftra actress originally from Atlanta, Georgia.
Her performance as the multi-faceted lead character in the Dan Bush directed thriller, “The Dark Red” was described by various critics as “absolutely transfixing,” “deliver[ed] with the utmost of subtle finesse,” and “flat out fantastic […], showing incredible range, breaking your heart even as she gets your fist pumping in the air.”
Among April’s most notable roles, she recurred opposite Matt Craven, Francis Fisher, and Kurtwood Smith in ABC’s “Resurrection” as well as endeared audiences opposite Oscar-winner Kevin Kline in the Jon Turteltaub comedy, “Last Vegas”. You also may have seen her on one of a multitude of hit TV shows including “The Summer I Turned Pretty”, “The Walking Dead”, and “The Vampire Diaries” among others.
When she’s not on set, you’ll find her training with her goldendoodle, Biscuit, studying something random and new, or filling up her heart by learning from and lifting up other actors whilst teaching and coaching.
